Gayle, I think Facebook and other social networking sites are great brandraising tools, but I'm not convinced they have significant fundraising power (yet). What excites me is the mobile channel... Donations through cellphones! Too bad Canada is dragging our feet on the infrastructure front. Donations by SMS, while not conducive to on-going giving, would be a great way to boost an org's one-time contributions. I think Gen Z is going to demand this functionality.
